Meet the Autumn Olive Team |

Andrew McCallum |
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Waterloo
with an engineering degree and has been a
registered professional engineer for the past 9
years. With vast design and project
management experience, he can both design and
build your project in the most cost efficient
and effective manner. |

Darren
Whalls |
Darren is a hard working and skilled carpenter.
A graduate of
the Pat Wolfe Log Building School, Darren brings
six years of
log
building experience and
expertise to his trade. Prior to log home
building, Darren honed his skills working in
residential construction for five years. He is
an avid outdoorsman with a passion for nature,
as demonstrated by his history of dog-sled and
canoe guiding in Northern Ontario. Appreciation
of timberframing and skilled carpentry make
Darren an integral part of the Autumn Olive
team. |

Environmental Consciousness |

Autumn Olive strives to conduct sustainable
building practices. Our dedication to the
environment is ensured by planting an abundance
of trees. Our goal is to plant more trees than
consumed in our construction projects. In 2007
Autumn Olive planted 700 seedlings. We are
at the forefront of the environmental movement
with knowledge in sod roof and straw bale
construction. |
