Design |
 |
|
by Andrew McCallum |
|
We can help make the complicated design process
simple, commencing with a discussion about your
ideas and dreams, roughing out potential floor
plans and discussing the architectural style in
which you are most interested. We will
review initial costs always ensuring that your
project meets the requirements of your budget.
We will also review the site location and will
discuss ways to optimize it to its full
development potential. Once you are
satisfied with the floor plans, we will complete
the details of the log or timber design
specifics. We are also 3D design capable
so you will easily be able to conceptualize what
we have laid out together. Prior to
building we also establish a timeline for the
design and build phases of the project. |

Timber Framing |
|
Timber framing uses the ancient, proven
technique of mortise and tenon joinery. We
offer complete home timber frame packages. |
|
Hybrid Construction |
|
Hybrid construction combines the use of of
timber frame construction with an existing,
conventionally constructed home. We can
add a new great room timber frame addition, some
timber highlights in an existing structure or a
timber frame entrance. |
|
Log Construction |
 |
|
Log construction uses hand peeled, full scribe
round logs or square dovetail logs. |
|
We can also handle smaller projects such as
mantels, staircases or hardwood floors with an
inlay, as examples. With over 200 acres of
woodlot and 20 species of trees to choose from
we can find the unique detail that will set your
project apart. No location is too remote
for us. |
